Thanasis Stamatiadis Traditional Bakery in Prinos Thassos

 

Thanasis is one of the last  (and hopefully not the last one) for the moment who continues his family  tradition as traditional baker in Prinos Thassos.  He is using the same wood fired oven as his father and the same art of baking bread. When you visit his bakery and taste his bread you may understand the difference at the taste of his bread. And a kilo of bread costs still just 1 Euro.

His bakery is situated behind the central street market of Prinos. It is recommended to the way to his bakery.
